C-section in the morning (7am), too late to store cord blood?

i am having a csection tomorrow and me and my husband have decided we want to store the cord blood, i know there is a kit that they send you. obviously it wont get here by the surgery but will the hospital have them or something? do any companies go and do it for you?

1. Some hospitals have the kit others don't. Ask tomorrow when you get there, worse case scenario, they don't have it and you can't do it. Good luck and congratulations!
2. My baby came too early before I could get the kit. I ask the hospital but they said that it had to be done ahead of time. I don't know if all hospitals are the same. You can always do it with your next one. Good luck with you new little one!
3. It is too late. Cryopreservation of cord blood has to be arranged well in advance. The kit is sent to you or to your doctor, the fee is paid, then when the time comes, the cord blood is placed in the container provided. Don't worry about it. You'll be prepared next baby!
