Should I go for UCLA, UCBerkeley, or UCSD?

Should I go for... 1. UCLA: Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics. 2. UC Berkeley: Immunology (with Haas undergraduate dual business administration degree) 3. UCSD: Bioengineering: "Premed" emphasis I am looking forward to medicine/medical school after completing four years BS. UCSD's undergraduate bioengineering is ranked in the top 3 of the nation and it is super competitive. I do not know of the rankings and values of the other degrees from UCLA or UCBerkeley.

  1. Go to UCLA. Have a great day!
  2. Do you have a shot for UCLA or Berkeley? If you are set on bioengineering, go for UCSD. There are 600+ companies in the SD area, meaning you have good support and the possibility of good internships.
  3. Go to UC Berkeley. They have a very high admission rate (if I remember correctly 80%) to medical school. Thanks Bill
  4. my friend went to UCSD and really enjoyed it.
  5. If you need to ask total strangers the above questions, I'm not sure that you even should go to college. Grow up and learn to make decisions for youself. Even when you are wrong, you will still learn something. With your indecision I'm not sure that I would want you to be my doctor. Do a little research--check out medical journals, etc.
  6. berk and sd are known to lack hot girls. so go to la.
  7. I've heard UCLA has a slightly less "nose to the grindstone" culture than Berkeley and UCSD. If you're into studying constantly, then go to those two, but if you want to have a more fun college experience with excellent educational opportunities, go to UCLA. Oh, yeah, and what Dan said.
  8. Ummm... for cal's haas business major, you have to apply for the haas school of business again (and the admission rate is about 40% - It is actually quite hard to get into Haas... you have to get extremely good grades and do summer internship in the first 2 years). Immunology is pretty good (and I love the immunology course at cal! well, I have only taken the lower division of immunology... but going to take the upper division of immunology next semster). It should be pretty fun... but i heard the immuno lab is hard...
