Should an ultrasound technician guess on A babies gender when the umbilical cord is between the legs?

An umbilical cord is much bigger than a penis and when i had my u/s done the tech said im not sure but if i had to guess i would say boy...does it make any sense to guess i mean what was she seeing to make a boy guess...she seemed so unsure i would have wrather had her say she cant tell either way its just more frustrating now for us. The big deal is that i have had four boys already and wanted to be more sure.

1. To me it seems a technician should not guess the sex of a baby when the cord is between it's legs. They should make an appointment for u to come back, that way the baby has moved and determining the sex should be easier (unless u have a stubborn baby ;) God forbid they tell u the wrong sex of your baby!
2. Well, she couldn't have known that you would only want a 100% sure answer. As long as she told you she wasn't sure I don't see what the big deal is.
3. I think you need to find something better to focus on if this is causing you frustration. Sheesh.. If she made no guess, you'd probably be complaining about that as well. Yes, it would be great to know, but even without the cord in the way, they are wrong 15% of the time.
