Who was the first person to be cured with stem cells?

Ive googled it and cant find any examples of anyone actually receiving stem cells and what the results were. Does anyone know anything about this? I would like to know if this is a real healthcare revolution or just a political platform that preys on the hopes of desperate people. Maybe the research is being done somewhere else and its in a different language? And please provide links.

1. Hmmmm.... I'm going with the platform theory..... Research is being done, but that's all just research....
2. There haven't been any examples yet. The science is still too new.
3. Stem cell cures are still in the research phases. They have cured parkinsons in humans with pig stem cells, but eventually the cure gets rejected. They have also also cured several incurable diseases in rats using stem cells, including repairing the human heart.
4. It wasn't an American, and that is for sure.
5. If you mean embryonic stem cells, there are no examples. If you mean stem cell research from other sources, there have been successes.
