Do all tissues contain stem cells? (This is a somewhat leading question, intended to get you to the following question.) Why is it important that a tissue might have resident stem cells?

- If they don't, they did at some point. They were created via stem cells. It is important that a tissue have resident stem cells because if it is damaged, the stem cells can become a tissue cell and replace the damaged one.
