If it is unknown how long it takes to fully differentiate stem cells, why not just wait a long time?
I heard stem cells take a long time to differentiate and that if they don't go completely then their "cures" can be problematic and lead to teratomas so why not just let stem cells rest for a year or something to make sure they are differentiated?

- They can't start differentiating until they come into contact with the desired tissue to repair, so they must be administered in their totipotent state. The problem is some of them might decide not to differentiate, which means they could turn 'cancerous' by continuing to divide.
