stem cells?
Do you think we should use the advantages of stem cells(for instance: heart disease, stroke, , burns and spinal cord damage...) even thought the cells are taken from tissue of embyros? treating cases like heart...

- Scientist now have developed technology to bring normal cells into their embrionic state :D
- There are two sources of stems cells: the embryos and also adult humans (called adult stem cells). Many researchers have reported repair of cardiac, vascular and connective tissues using adult stem cells. If such progress was to continue there would be no need to take stem cells from embryos. What you ask is ethically difficult question and while I am happy to support the adult stem cell research, I am not clear with myself on embryonic stem cells as I do not quite understand how the cells are procured. If it involved destroying an embryo then I would say no, but if there was a way to develop stem cells from an egg (ova) without forming an embryo (so embryo-like cells) - I think I would be OK with this.
