1. I thought about it when I was pregnant with my daughter but I didn't have the money. But would have loved to.

4. We have done some research and will probably bank. From what my OB has said, it could be the smart thing to do since we don't know what will happen in the future. I think it's great what science can do these days and who knows what it might cure down the road!

6. I would have loved to do it when I had my son, but there were too many negtives about it. Number 1, it is a very expensive procedure, and you have to pay yearly for it to be kept in the cord bank. The thing that really got me is that they will only keep your childs cord banked for ten years. After that, it goes into one huge freezer, unlabled, and your not even guarenteed that your child will get his cord blood in an emergency.
