Baby kicking?
Ok so this might sound silly but I am 27 weeks pregnant and my baby moves around and kicks ALOT! Is it possible for the umbilical cord to get wraped around his neck since he moves so much and not even know it???

- It is possible but not likely. God is the master designer and does quite well looking after the little ones in the womb.
- Yes that can be a possibility, but if you stop feeling ur baby moving, go to the hospital, and tell them, they should give u an ultrasound to check it out. but dont worry to much about it.
- Anything is possible, right? But lets not hope that is the case with you. I do think the same thing tho, my boy kicked and spun and moved like crazy when he had more room! Now that I am 37 (almost 38, tomorrow) weeks he pushes and moves his legs and arms around and for a while there I thought I would have a breeched baby, come to find out he is already head down! We will always worry about the worst, but lets try not to!!!! Some times I wonder if I am this paranoid during pregnancy, how am I going to react when he's actually here?!!!!!
- The umbilical cord is designed so that if your little kicker gets tangled in it, it should not hurt him/her. While umbilical cord accidents do happen, it's not COMMON. As long as you feel your baby kicking/moving about, he/she is ok. Don't spend the next 13 or so weeks you have left of your pregnancy worrying about such things.
- I had a very active baby the first time, but nothing like that ever happened. My second child was not as active but did get the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck when I was 36 weeks. But I knew he wasn't moving as much as normal so I went to the dr. They did a stress test and could tell it wasn't quite right b/c his heart rate was decelerating when I would have a contraction. We ended up doing an emergency c-section but everything turned out fine. Don't stress about that stuff too much. Just be aware of your child's activity and do fetal kick counts.
- not possible.relax yourself stop worrying.good luck.
