- have your friends help and maybe one of them is a doctor so they may help
- iodine, its cheap! get it from the chemist and dab some on it, it will help to dry it up,
- The kitten will be fine it is just the blood that is left in the umbilical cord it will dry up if mama cat does not eat it off the kitten
- Tie dental floss around it really tight. It should stop the bleeding. If that does not help it needs to see a vet.
- You better ask the doctor for more advices, maybe it is serious.......
- The iodine will work. also, gently squeeze the blood out of the cord, that should dry it up more quickly.
- I guess by the time i answer this question the kitten is long dead and you probably have dug the kitten its grave.
- Ive done this many times with newborn kittens as advised by my vet. If you have sewing thread cut off a piece about 12 inches long tie it around the umbilical cord 1/4 to 1/2 inches away from the kittens stomach use a standard knot and do it twice. After the cord is tied off and the placenta is still attached you can snip the cord 1/4 inch below the string. also trim off excess string. when the cord drys it will fall off with the string still knotted around it.
- I'm sorry for your kittens but you better see your cats Doctor
- If you can't afford vet care, you shouldn't be breeding animals. And remember, if you need to, you can call a cab.
- I'd suggest tieing it off with a peice of string.
- it may be hard but i'd say see a vet
- Mother cats are very good at taking care of their young. I would probaby tie a small piece of floss around it, the mother cat should lick that area, to clean the kitten. Please make sure you take the mother cat and have her spayed after she weans the kittens. Good luck in finding all a forever home!!
