  1. Yes it is normal for it to bleed a little. If the bleeding continues longer than a week then I would speak to a doctor....
  2. thats not normal
  3. yes it supposed to be, when my daughters fell off it too was bleeding and it scared me however i checked with her doctor and as long as it doesn't look infected or anything it's perfectly normal. just keep cleaning it and eventually it'll look like a normal belly button. hope this is reassuring
  4. if it bleeds just a little, that is ok. When the cord falls off, the root of the cord sometimes takes a little longer to dry out. Be sure to monitor it for redness and swelling. I would continue to put a little alcohol on it IF the baby is not affected by it.
  5. yes it is normal if it bleeds a little and stops if you put pressure on it..if it doesnt stop after you put pressure on it..then it should be checked out..and if it bleeds for more than 3 or 4 days..also go see a doctor.
  6. Totally normal. it will scab upbut sometimes when her diaper rub on her belly button, it can start to bleed or when she strains like you stated. it is a scab an they do bleed when they are touched or bothered.
  7. Yes its normal.....my babys feel off after only 1 week and it bleed...i was so worried just like you but i found out its ok just keep it clean.....after every other diaper change I cleaned it with a Q tip and peroxide then i would put a band aid over it to keep the diaper from rubbing up aginst it...just make sure the band aid is loose so air can still get to it. good luck, try not to worry, it will be fine!
  8. Yes it's normal; keep it clean with a q-tip dipped in alcohol. The alcohol should dry it up.
  9. Bring the baby to the doctor and have them cauterize it.
