- Cut it with scissors. It can be harmful to the baby (rare but possible), so do in soon.
- get a pair of scissors quickly and cut the cord but not very close because they can bleed to death make sure you cut i very very far away from the kitten or else it will bleed to death!!!
- call your vet
- Cut it with scissors, leave about 1" and tie it with thread.
- Cut the umbilical cord 2in from the body, or do it the same length as the others! Make sure you sterilize the sciscors! You did the right thing by rubbing him! That will keep him warm dry and stimulated! Very good.... Now when you cut it, it may bleed a little. Throw the after birth away, don't let her eat it. She seems too tired too. If she eats too many, it could give her diarreah. So best to play it safe. Also, move the food water and litter box into the same room! Good luck! Also, don't worry, I once had to do the same thing! Congrats on the babies! Don't call the vet, dumb idea! If you take the baby out this young do you understand how much stress and illness could be caused by it?! Do it yourself or get a parent or friend to do it!
- Tie a piece of dental floss tightly around the umbilical cord about one inch from the kitten's body. Then cut the cord, leaving the tied end attached to the kitten. It will dry up over the next 24 hours or so and eventually will fall off on its own. Make sure you cut the ends of the floss short, less than one inch.
- honey you gonna have to cut it with scissors then put him at his mom's belly so he can eat
