  1. It comes out with the placenta as that is what it is attached to
  2. it is delivered after the baby is delivered.
  3. The umbilical cord connects the baby to the placenta. After delivering a baby, a woman will deliver her placenta along with the umbilical cord.
  4. It comes out with the placenta - the bag the baby was kept in.
  5. Its attached to the placenta, which comes out after the baby is born. Called the after birth
  6. The other end of the umbilical cord is attached to the placenta, which detaches itself from the mothers uterus and is then expelled out after the baby is. No, they don't stuff it back in. That would probably cause a serious infection.
  7. The cord is clipped several inches away from the baby's belly button and then they put a clamp on so that it dries out. The other end is attached to the placenta that is delivered after the baby. It's also referred to as the after-birth. It isn't put back in the mother.
  8. It's attached to the placenta, which will be delivered shortly after birth.
