Umbilical Cord?

When did your baby's umbilical cord fall off? And when it did, did it look a "little" like an outie and then became an innie? My daughter's fell off yesterday, the top portion sticks out slightly but the bottom is an innie. Just curious...

My daughter's fell off when she was just under 2 weeks old. Only half of it fell off though (at least it looked like that), it left a goopy bloody mess behind. I had her at the Dr.'s office for something else and showed her my daughter's cord, she put some silver nitrate on it to help it heal. Now she has what I call an "in betweenie" b/c it's not quite an outie yet not quite an innie. Funny thing is it looks like my husbands, I don't know if it's something she got from him or if it turned out that way b/c of the way it half fell off.

My sons fell off when he was about 1 week old...It was an outie for the first few months but now at 5 1/2 months it is definitely an innie....
my sdon was one week to the day. once his fell off his always looked like an innie- i think it depends on the baby
