does anyone of u believe that stem cells are responsible for cancer formation?

a very serious question to doctors,biologists,health care professionals or to those who have knowledge regarding stem cells and their distinct property..does anyone believe that stem cells are involved in formation of cancer and can be use for cancer therapy..its a controversial question but this question can well solve one of the mysteries of modern medicine...as some scientists speculate that stem cells are resp for cancer formation and its unique nature as a self spreading,forever proliferation disease...

1. Stem cell research holds many mysteries. Although it is commonly belived to cause Cancer but these reports are not yet confirmed
2. stem cells are out into the body to restore certain parts that dont work anymore besides i doubt anyone who has cancer got it from stem cells considering that stem cell research is still in development
3. Doubtful that they're the cause, but stem cell research could hold the key to a cure for cancer and many other diseases.
4. I don't know if stem cells are the cause of cancer but I do know that they can cure some forms of cancer... This is such a new thing that I don't think that we know all there is to know about stem cells right now... I can tell you that I am being tested right now to see if I am a match to my sister so that I can give her some stem cells to help her recovery from ALL cancer... Stem cell research needs to keep moving forward. I am all for it.
5. Stem cells are already being used for cancer treatment with good results. Why would they use stem cells if they cause cancer. I know of a young girl who had a bone marrow transplant with umbilical cord stem cells. She is doing great and still showing no signs of cancer after 12 months. Unlike a couple of others who have had bone marrow match transplants, their cancer has returned and been fatal. More stem cell research should be done, I believe it will be the medical treatment of the future not just for cancer but other illness's
6. I'm not sure if stem cells cause cancer, but I do know that no amount of surgery or treatment will get rid of cancer if the cancer is located in a stem cell unless that specific stem cell is removed.
