what are the effects of oraly ingesting mesenchymal stem cells from a bovine source to treat DDD?

DDD - Degenerative Disc Disease. I have read some studies suggesting MSC (mesenchymal stem cells) can cause growth of healthy aggrecan m olecules when injected into the nucleous pulposus of degenerative discs, but am concerned about side effects.

1. The cells would be destroyed if taken orally, and would not end up in your discs. As you stated they must be injected into the pulposus itself in order to interact with the unhealthy tissue there.
