How do Paralized people make stem cells?

If hematopoietic stem cells are found in the bone marrow which is in the hip.What about those who are disjointed from their from the pelvic region and down. That is they don't have that area? Or what if they are paralyzed in the legs?

  1. Stem cells are made in all the flat bones also. But in cases where there are not enough flat bone areas in a body, or in cases where more are needed over time; the other bones can revert to making stem cells like they did when the person was a child. Hope this helps
