- Yes, it is sickening.
- How bizarre. I don't have a problem with stem cell research - finding a cure for degenerative diseases would be great. But making chimeras? I don't understand how a human skin cell inside of an animal egg would produce something 99% human. It's a little too Island of Dr. Meroux for me... If it is a procedure that proves to be both beneficial to the advancements of medicine and not detrimental in any way, then I probably wouldn't oppose it. But I think there needs to be decades of research to prove that there are no long term side affects before it ever becomes a common practice.
- Yes, Its unnatural and danger prone. Watch Jurassic Park for crying out loud.
- Yes, playing God is wrong. This includes destroying life and messing with nature.
- No
- Wow, this really pushes the ethical limit's does'nt it? Personally I don't like the idea, and am glad the British government is banning this practice.
- When the science discovered one thing which is potentially dangerous, good and bad come out of it. For example: discovery of nuclear! It means if we solve one problem, another pops up; and worst yet to come.
- I think the mixing of human and animal DNA is not such a good idea.
