Cord Blood Stem Cells Information

Single artery umbilical cord or SUA or singleton Umbilical cord?

At my 20 week ultrasound I found out that my umbilical cord has only one Artery instead of two. I am told that this happens in about 1 to 100 pregnancies and that I have an 80% chance of having a Baby without any defects. I am honestly hoping to find other mothers who are int he same boat as me or someone who knows of someone who either is going through this or has already gone through it. I would appreciate both great outcomes and the not so great also. Overall I have been positive since I found out but research is not as personal as real peoples stories. Thanks

  1. Everything is going to be fine God is with you and i bet your baby will be very gorgeous
  2. I am going through the same thing. I freaked out in the beginning, but now I am leaving it up to God. It doesn't matter how much you think about it, it is still going to be the same outcome. As long as they check the baby out and see nothing physically wrong with him, then the chances of having a normal baby is high. Be positive and keep praying, God is with us.
